I first discovered “natural skin care” when I was in my 30’s after I fell in love with the smell and packaging of the Origins skin care line. I was visiting my sister in Austin and I was immediately drawn to the display. ( It took years for it to catch on here but when it did, I got many of my friends hooked immediately) On to Arbonne, a botanical based skin care line as my sister was a consultant.
While I had great success with both of these skin care lines, in my late fourties, wrinkles, sagging and dullness progressing, I read about a product called Organic Argan Oil. This is where my obsession began. I have since discovered hundreds of natural skin products that I never knew existed, along with the gym and all natural supplements. Can you say “addict?”
“Despite trailing economic conditions, the market for natural and organic beauty products is growing worldwide. In the United States alone, the natural personal care market is predicted to reach $6.7 billion in 2015, forecasts Kline & Co. (Parsippany, NJ).”
New products with innovative ingredients are driving this growth with hundreds of new natural anti-aging products hitting the market daily. Consumers are demanding all natural but they also want products that work.
Whether or not you believe that chemicals in skin care products are dangerous to your health, believe that all natural skin products may be the answer to your sudden skin problems. The naysayers claim that we are promoting snake oil which is comical in itself, as we are only promoting nature. The research and the records of medication based products speak volumes. (they are not good).
I strongly believe that there is a connection between health and beauty and once you become healthy on the inside and start nurturing your skin with all natural skin products on the outside, you will become that person with vibrant, healthy, glowing skin that you so often admire. With more and more people using and demanding natural skin care and supplements, it’s no accident that women are looking and feeling ten years younger today.
