Natural Age Spot Cream

If you are looking for an age spot cream to get rid of those pesky age spots on your face, please say NO to dangerous skin lightening products. Here’s why …

Many skin lightening creams or spot creams on the market today contain mercury. As a matter of fact, a recent study determined that fifty skin lighteners contain toxic levels of mercury. Several of the age spots treatments or lightening skin products for that matter had enough mercury to cause kidney damage. So what’s the problem with mercury? For starters, it is linked to brain damage and organ failure.

Skin lightening is becoming a booming business. Thousands of women are looking to lighten their dark skin and still thousands more are looking for a spot cream to get rid of the ugly brown spots on their skin, brown spots that have developed with age from overexposure to the sun. As the demand grows for skin lightening creams, more and more people are being exposed to mercury poisoning.

But mercury isn’t the only harmful ingredient found in some skin lightening creams. Hydroquinone is another. It’s been linked to a skin disfiguring and darkening condition called ochronosis– and the FDA has even described it as carcinogenic. By all means people, stop using these nasty products that contain harmful ingredients because natural skin products are on the rise. There are many natural age spot creams on the market today. Here are just a few…

Revive DNA Rejuvenation Cream

Meladerm Skin Lightener

Dermology Skin Brightener Cream

Xtend-Life Day Cream With Natural Whitening

I have been doing research on another natural skin lightening cream which doesn’t contain ingredients that cause photo sensitivity. It’s called Concha de Nacar and as soon as I get my hands on it, I will let you know.

Are These Ingredients In Your Age Spot Cream?

Having an even skin tone, free from nasty looking blotches and age spots is a goal for many people over the age of 50 and there are thousands of age spot creams popping up claiming to tackle the problem and lighten the pigment of your skin. While some of these products are promising, it is important to research the ingredients list for potentially dangerous side effects.

Hydroquinone

The topical treatment of choice for decades by millions of people, hydroquinone is known to inhibit tyrosinase which forms the dark pigments on the skin. The dangers of hydroquinone are well known mostly from overuse (longer than 12 weeks) however many continue to use this ingredient long term to the detriment of their skin. Many countries have banned it’s use in cosmetics for good reason.

If you insist on using an age spot removal cream with hydroquinone, test in the inside of the elbow overnight in case an allergic reaction occurs and don’t use for long periods of time.

Azelaic Acid

Somewhat effective at lightening age spots, azelaic acid is needed in high concentrations (at least 15 percent) for it to work. High levels of this ingredient have been known to cause irritation in some and can cause inflammatory hyperpigmentation spots in those with darker skin.

Kojic Acid

Kojic acid, popular in Japanese skin care, tooted as being the natural alternative for lightening the skin inhibits the enzyme tyrosinase, making it an alternative to hydroquinone. While this natural skin lightening ingredient is free of harmful cancer causing ingredients, high doses are needed and long term use may lead to allergic reactions and dermatitis. If choosing an age spot removal cream with Kojic Acid, look for those with enough of the ingredient to be effective.

Ergothioneine

A naturally occuring amino acid, ergothioneine is an antioxidant and in clinical studies has been to inhibit the enzyme tyrosinase along with halting the production of pigment following UV sun exposure.

Remember, any age spot removal cream with these ingredients will only lighten age spots. They do not eliminate them completely. Complete skin depigmentation is simply futile. All skin lightening products will leave your skin sensitive to sunlight so make sure you protect your skin with the best all natural sunscreen for both UVA and UVB protection or consider using an all natural age spot cream.

As always, see your dermatologist before using any product for age spot removal. Because those with age spots generally have had high exposure to the sun, your dermatologist can check for skin cancer.

Kiss Those Brown Spots On Your Face Goodbye!

Can a person get rid of ugly brown spots otherwise known as age spots or facial pigmentation with Aloe Vera juice, apple cider vinegar, castor oil or chick peas? Really?? Seems to me if it were that easy, thousands wouldn’t be spent on expensive chemical peels, microdermabrasion procedures, or age spot creams. Removing those pesky brown spots on your face is simply not that easy.

What are age spots anyway?

Age spots are blemishes on the skin associated with aging and exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun. They range in color from light brown to red or black and are located in areas most often exposed to the sun, particularly the hands, face, shoulders, and arms. From the age of 40 onward the skin is less able to regenerate from sun exposure, and liver spots are very common in this age group, particularly in those who spend time in the sun.

Kat James, author of “The Truth About Beauty”, recommends rebuilding the skin and its defenses, while stimulating collagen synthesis and skin cell regeneration without irritation rather than “sanding and peeling” the skin which thins it, destroys its lipid barrier and makes skin even more susceptible to sun damage. In other words, eliminating that outer layer of skin may be doing more harm.

How to remove age spots

Ok, so what about these damn brown spots on my face and how do I remove them without removing the outer layer of skin or slathering chick peas on my face for days on end?

Dr. Al Sears, M.D., one of today’s leading voices in anti-aging medicine and natural health has discovered a way to repair skin’s DNA and virtually shut down the future aging of DNA through a new natural skin cream called Revive DNA Rejuvenation Cream. Revive skincare, made with all natural ingredients saw 100% significant improvement in age spots in clinical trials of women.

There are lots of age spot removal creams that make similar claims but not one of those products works to promote cellular skin rejuvenation the way Revive does. It will repair and even expand the life of skin cells. Age spots are caused by UV sun damage (yes, we were told this would happen eventually), and Dr. Sears claims that Revive stops UV damage in its tracks.

So try Revive DNA Rejuvenation Cream and kiss those nasty age spots on your face goodbye!
