Always a good excuse to get together with friends-the Dead Sea Mask is the best!
You’d think, by the frequency with which I write on many a Dead Sea Mask that I’d die if I go a single day without learning more about it. I probably won’t — but here’s another write-up I think you’ll like.
Make sure you come back here once you’re done and click on the link at the end of the sentence to learn more about this fabulous Dead Sea Mask!
The Dead Sea has a rich history going back to Biblical times. Historians have written that it was the location of one of the world’s first health resorts. Even today, the Dead Sea is renowned as a valuable source of non-soluble clays, carbonates, and organic compounds. It is extremely rich in naturally occurring magnesium, potassium and calcium. Mud from the Dead Sea has a high salt and mineral content, all of which are essential for the body. Dead Sea mud infuses the skin with minerals leaving it clean, refreshed and hydrated. Its salt is extracted and solar dried from the saline and mineral rich marshes along its shores and has been proven to be one of the best therapeutic salts available. Dead Sea salt is nutrient rich and is available in varying textures. A finer texture of Dead Sea salt is best suited for use as a body scrub. A slightly courser texture of Dead Sea Salt will help to exfoliate thickened skin on the soles of the feet. When incorporated into a body scrub, it is an all natural way to treat and prevent body acne. It works best when used within a base of certified organic castile soap. The addition of purifying, antibacterial organic essential oils such as peppermint, lavender or tea tree will help boost the acne fighting benefits of a Dead Sea salt scrub. This blend will exfoliate the skin, cleanse, detoxify and purify the pores and also gently treat stubborn body acne.
Facial masks have been used to clarify the skin for many thousands of years. They work by binding to the debris, toxins and impurities deep within the pores. As the mask is dying, it pulls the debris away from the face. When the mask is completely dry and rinsed away the debris and dead skin are also rinsed away with it.
Dead Sea Mineral mud masks serve several purposes: they exfoliate without any abrasives (so it is perfect for those with active acne because there is no risk of skin tearing); they improve blood circulation, they hydrate the skin and aid in skin regeneration. Be sure that you are using a Dead Sea Mud mask that contains no harmful fillers, binders or chemicals. A high quality Dead Sea mud mask should have only one ingredient: 100% Pure Dead Sea mud.
